+[My last post]({{< ref "2023-19" >}}) was a real downer, but things turned
+around when [Bad Diode](https://badd10de.dev/) both discovered that the issues
+I was having were due to a new bug in uxn _and_ [quickly patched
+it](https://git.sr.ht/~rabbits/uxn/commit/7ec95315ce696c0aceb4e9fb4f0a9eb55e5e307f).

+Since then I am enjoying playing with sound in uxn. I can make dits and dahs,
+and am doing experiments to find the best way to control the silences between
+them. I keep mentioning that I have a long way to go to finish this project,
+but the two most intimidating parts of it---drawing text on the screen and
+producing Morse Code---are pretty much done. At this point, I am the most
+confident I've been that I will actually finish this... someday. Usually that
+happens on [day 1]({{< ref "2023-01" >}}) of a project and it's all downhill
+from there.

+This confidence is good, because my participation in December Adventure will be
+fairly sporadic for the rest of the month, due to holidays and travel. I'm
+hoping to make a couple updates before the end of the year.
