I'm hoping search engines pick this up and people find it looking for my
LinkedIn (etc) accounts.

+Today, I followed [these

+and "hibernated" my LinkedIn account. I had to take an extra step to
+disconnect my account from a "LinkedIn Learning Enterprise license", which
+is two jobs old now (I hope it wasn't costing them anything), but otherwise
+it was a painless process. Unless I find myself really missing access to
+LinkedIn[^missing], I expect to close the account entirely by the end of the
+year.
