+# 2025 Advent of Code
+
+I’m going to attempt the Advent of Code again now that the length of the
+challenge has been reduced.
+
+This year I’m going to try to solve all of the puzzles using R’s “base
+packages” (viz, `stats`, `graphics`, `grDevices`, `utils`, `datasets`,
+`methods`, and `base`; though only some will be useful); I’m more interested in
+_doing programming_ than finding relevant packages for this.
